Guaranteed Quality Through the BRE Testing Programme

When it comes to security doors, quality and reliability aren’t optional, they’re essential. That’s why, over the past seven years we have undertaken a programme of certification for our stainless-steel doors with the LPCB (Loss Prevention Certification Board) part of the BRE (Building Research Establishment). Their security testing programme is one of the most trusted and rigorous certification schemes in the global security door industry and has become the gold standard for perimeter security.

Tested for Real-World Performance

Every LPCB security-rated door is subjected to a series of demanding, real-world tests. These tests replicate genuine attack scenarios, proving that the door will perform when it matters most. An LPCB rating isn’t based on theory or marketing claims, it’s based on proven performance under pressure, using different tools that are readily available to recreate situations that are likely to occur. These tool sets can be seen on the BRE’s

website.

Ongoing Assurance: Not a One-Time Test

Passing the test once is just the start of the process. At the outset we have to ensure we are ISO certified, from this point to keep our LPCB certification current, we then have to meet strict, ongoing quality requirements. This means regular surveillance audits and continuous assessments by BRE experts to confirm that every door we manufacture continues to meet the exacting standards of the original tested sample. In short, a LPCB certified product isn’t just tested once, it’s tested for life.

Complete Peace of Mind

BRE’s independent auditors act as our customers’ eyes, ensuring that our manufacturing processes, materials, and finished products continue to deliver the same level of quality and security that earned certification in the first place. Their oversight gives our customers complete peace of mind, knowing that what they are buying today meets the same high standards as the product that passed the official tests.

Confidence You Can Trust

Due to this ongoing auditing and performance verification, an LPCB security-rated door guarantees lasting quality, reliability, and protection. You’re not just buying a door, you’re investing in confidence, backed by independent, expert assurance every step of the way.
